Built slightly from the top of a hill. This temple with a nice Pai Lou can be seen from a distance. A set of stairs is built in-front leading from the main road to its front yard but a small road not far will let you drive all the way to the top. The surrounding is fill with greens of nature with a river not far. Its courtyard, fill with pots of flowers, is nurtured by the caretaker of the temple. It also has a small chinese pavilion on its courtyard where one could spend sometime enjoying its scenery and fresh air.

On my visit, many red lanterns is hung on the opened porch section before the main entrance. Here, you will also find an altar dedicated to Tian Gong /天公, like in most temple.

It has a Sky well / Tian Jing / 天井 will four white pillars inscribe with chinese poetic rhyme inside the temple. The wall next to the main altar is fill with pieces of mosaic with the image of Lord Guan. There is a total of 260 piece of these mosaic on each side of the wall. On some of the mosaic, i found names belonging to devotees, whom, i presumed, had donated generously to this temple.

Hello.. I am interested to visit one of the Guan Di Temple in Cameron Highlands. Is this the one that has bells and drums for us make our prayers with? Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

Hi Su Yee, I would not be sure if this is the Guan Di temple that allows its devotees to use the bells and drums for making prayers. Commonly, when a donation is made in a temple, the caretaker would hit on the drums and rings its bells as blessing. Sometimes they even chant rhyme of blessing for the donators.
