aka Fu Sheng Gong / Tokong Fook Seng Kong

Location :- Titi, Jelebu, Negeri Sembilan / Location:- 知知港, 日叻务, 森美兰州.

At a walking distance from my previous location, there is another old temple located on an elevated ground at the end of the road. It was after reading about this temple on social media that helped add the interest on driving through those windy roads earlier. This is another Xian Si Shi Ye temple that is over a century old. Establish in 1892(*1), this is also one of the oldest temple in this area. From all my visits to the Xian Si Shi Ye temple, I came to notice they are usually found in towns where it was once booming…probably a century ago. This small town of Titi has seen one of the single largest massacre that took place during the Japanese Occupation. I really wonder if any part of the temple or altar were damaged during that time and I for some reason would really like to know how this temple looked then compared to now.

The main prayer hall has been refurbish before and based on a new coloured drawing hanging by the wall, they may have plans to beautify the place further. There is one main altar with three section in this prayer hall. The centre section is dedicated to its main patron deity, Xian Shi Ye / 仙師爺 and Si Shi Ye / 四師爺. Other deities enshrined on this altar includes Hua Guang Da Di / 華光大帝, Guan Sheng Da Di / 關聖大帝 and Tan Gong Ye / 譚公爺 known here as Tan Gong Xian Sheng /譚公仙聖.

The section to the right of this altar is dedicated to the worshipped of the Goddess of Mercy, Guan Yin Pu Sa / 觀音菩薩 and the section to the left is dedicated to the worship of Zhen Jun Da Di / 真君大帝 and Zu Fa Xian Shi / 朱發仙師. There is no statue to depict these deities on this left section altar. Their names are inscribed onto a tablet placed on this altar. A very common practice.
