Zhen Long Gong-Ijok /

Zhen Long Gong-Ijok /

Location:- Kampung Bukit Badong, Ijok, Selangor /

I was told of this temple by a caretaker of another that I have visited earlier. The day is getting late and I was hoping to find this place before it gets dark.

On arrival, the caretaker here was just cleaning up the place. I was told by him that the original temple was located in a wooden house further inside the palm oil estate. I think this temple was founded on 1978 (based on the signage) and was rebuild here by the main road in 1995.

The main altar is mainly devoted to the worship of its main patron deity Na Zha San Tai Zi / 哪吒三太孑 along with Fa Zhu Gong /法主公, Fu De Zheng Shen / 福德正神, Goddess Guan Yin / Guan Yin Pu Sa / 觀音菩薩, Guan Sheng Da Di / 關聖大帝, etc…. And there is also a huge incense furnace with a Na To Gong / 嗱督公 shrine at front of this temple.

Qi Jian Xian Shi Fo Zu Gu Miao-Pasir Penambang /

Qi Jian Xian Shi Fo Zu Gu Miao-Pasir Penambang /

Location :- Pasir Penambang, Kuala Selangor, Selangor /

This would be my third time visiting this place. Much has changed since. There are a few Chinese seafood restaurant near this temple. It was visiting one of this restaurant that first brought me here.

From afar, one could see this strange looking Chinese temple with a cave looking structure builded on its top. I believe this design is to make the temple looks as it was in the mountains like those in china.

Upon arrival, many visitors are seen offering candles and incense in this place of worship. It surrounding is large with many more space for future expansion. They have their administrative departments all located on the side of the temple.

The interior hall is large and has many murals of deities on each side of its walls. The design and lighting of it’s beautiful cave looking altar creates an illusion that makes the deities seem sitting deeper into the cave.

Deities that are worship on the main altar are Ta Mo Zu Shi / 達摩祖師 on the left, Lord Buddha / Fo Zu / 佛祖 on the center and Goddess Guan Yin / Guan Yin Pu Sa / 觀音菩薩 on the right.

Returning to the front there are two set of stair that leads you to the top section, An altar of Di Zang Wang Pu Sa / 地藏王菩薩 is placed in this cave looking structure and the view of the temples surronding is breathtaking from here.

Na To Gong Miao-Btg.Berjuntai /

Na To Gong Miao-Btg.Berjuntai /

Location:- Batang Berjuntai (now know as Bestari Jaya), Selangor /

Along the route to Kuala Selangor from Rawang via the federal route brought me to this place. By the side of this temple, there is a stage builded next to the temple for celebration purposes with a police station build on the other side. Rebuild in 1985 this temple was actually a small shrine in a rubber estate many years ago according to Mr Au Yong, the caretaker of this temple for 20+ years. Gradually over the years, the community has expanded this temple to what it is today.

The main altar consist of three section. The Left section is devoted to Fa Zhu Gong /法主公 along with other deities. On the Center section, there is an tablet and statues of Na To Gong / 嗱督公. Both the Na to Gong statue on the altar is very unique. Both were wearing Qing dynasty magistrate costumes. The Right section is devoted to Goddess Guan Yin / Guan Yin Pu Sa / 觀音菩薩.
