Peng Lai Dian-Ulu Yam / 蓬萊殿-烏汝音

Peng Lai Dian-Ulu Yam / 蓬萊殿-烏汝音.

Location:- Ulu Yam Baharu, Selangor / 烏汝音, 雪蘭莪.

Know as Fung Loi Din in Cantonese.

This temple is located on a slightly elevated ground next to the main road. It has a large open ground with a stage build on the side of the temple and i guess they do organize lion dance training at these grounds as there were lion dancing stilts covered on the side. It was a windy day and siting outside the temple gives a very relaxing feel. During my visit, kids from the nearby village were playing around and on the stage. It does bring back fond memories of those good old days of me staying near a chinese temple.

On the interior, Worshipped on the main altar would be Qing Shui Zu Shi / 清水祖師 along with other deities. An altar on the right is dedicated to Fu De Zheng Shen / 福德正神 or more commonly known to locals as Da Bo Gong / 大伯公. An altar to the left is dedicated to Goddess Guan Yin / Guan Yin Pu Sa / 觀音菩薩 and another altar to the further left is dedicated to 5 General / Wu Ye Yuan Shuai / 五爺元帥.
