Ling Yin Si-Jelutong / 靈隐寺-日落洞
Location:- Jelutong, Penang – 日落洞, 檳城.
We came upon this small temple that is devoted to Ji Gong Huo Fo / 濟公活佛 after visiting another temple not far from here. Upon arrival, we were greeted by the friendly temple committees whom has given us permission to get some photos.
On the main altar, there is many statue of Ji Gong Huo Fo / 濟公活佛 along with other heavenly deities. Among them are Da Bo Gong / 大伯公, Guan Sheng Da Di / 關聖大帝, Guan Yin Pu Sa / 觀音菩薩,Na Zha San Tai Zi / 哪吒三太孑, etc. I was told by one of it’s committee members that the statue of its main patron deity, Ji Gong is from the original Ling Yin Si temple in Hangzhou, China / 靈隐寺,杭州, 中国.
This temple also worships Da Er Bo Ye / Tua Dee Ya Pek / 大二伯爷 and Tiger General / 虎爺.
