Lian Xian Tan-Kukup / 聯顯壇-龜咯
Location:- Kukup, Pontian, Johor / 龜咯, 笨珍, 柔佛
A walkabout at night in this small fishing village brought us to this temple with a restaurant nearby. Like most premise here, this temple is build on stilts. It also has a incense furnace build on its front side.
This small and simple looking temple is devoted to its main patron deity Xuan Tian Shang Ti / 玄天上帝. On its main altar, other deities are also worshipped here . Among then are The Tiger riding Zhao Gung Ming / 趙公明, Goddess Guan Yin / Guan Yin Pu Sa / 觀音菩薩, Lord Guan Di / 關帝, Ji Gong Huo Fo / 濟公活佛, Da Bo Gong / 大伯公, Fa Zhu Gong /法主公, etc.
Another smaller altar devoted to its Wu Ye / 5 General / 五爺 is place next to the main altar.
A small shrine is placed in-front of this temple devoted to its Tian Gong / 天公. Uniquely, there is three deities in it. I could be certain that the deity on the center is Yu Huang Da Di / 玉皇大帝 and I guess the other two next to him should be Nan Bei Dou Xing Jun / 南北斗星君.
Below:- Its Tian Gong / 天公 shrine.
