In this great flood, the old town of Kuala Kubu were totally sunken by mud and sand. And due to it’s strategic location, this temple has been able to save much life’s back then.
After doing some searches, it was said that, during the malayan emergency, the deities were moved to a newly build temple as the area were consider forbidden to avoid the locals from helping the communist.
It was only in the 80s, the original temple location has been rediscovered and it is rebuild with the assistances of Kek Lok Si temple committees from Penang.
It’s surrounding is very nice as there is a small lake by the side of the temple. There is quite a few altar in the main prayer hall with a beautiful laughing Buddha at it’s entrance. I’ll let the photos do the talking.
